Accountant Required In Kuwait City With Transferable Residency. we need Senior Accountant Will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks including bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and other accounting duties as needed. The role is located in Al Asimah, Kuwait. Job duties and responsibilities Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.

Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries. Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling and preparing checks, resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation, insuring credit is received for outstanding memos, issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.

Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks. Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions. Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions. Maintains historical records by microfilming and filing documents. Disburses petty cash by recording entry; verifying documentation.

Making Reports of payable and analysis cost expenses. Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential. Review financial statement and present to chief accountant monthly Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Qualifications Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Awareness of food & beverage business Familiarity with financial accounting statements Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, Accuracy and attention to detail Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills BS degree in Accounting.

Finance Experience: Over 5 years of experience in a similar role Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in the English language, encompassing reading, writing, and speaking skills Mandatory Requirements: Transferable residency.  Estimated salary is 100-400kd
